What is this? [its refurbished?]

    Hi i got a new iphone 6s it was sealed but i enter here http://www.chipmunk.nl to see production week then i realize in the botton of the page there is:

    Factory: C7 (Pentragon, Changhai, China. Maybe Refurbished?

    What does it means? its refurbished? i got my iphone from a Sealed box ??? It is supposed to be new.

    Clearly it says maybe refurbished. It doesnt say definitely refurbished or probably refurbished, it says maybe refurbished. The factory you got it from probably has the equipment required to build phones and was being used before release to ramp up production for the launch. Once a supply meets the demand, they will probably take a part of that particular factory and re purpose it for refurbishing.

    If it was in a sealed box purchased from Apple, then it is new. Why would you think it wasn't?

    It is illegal to sell refurbished products as new. If it was sealed and sold to you full price, it was definitely new.
