i tried to google, only thing i noticed was maybe a plug-in error, which i havent done anything since d/ling from apple. i just restored my imac as well.

I've never seen that before....There is no "Trial Version" of Itunes as far as I know...and it's free...Malware, or a Java applet perhaps?

i know! i was very confused. im no idiot when it comes to software/malware/macs etc. so i was shocked.
 
See whether you have anything in ~/Library/iTunes/iTunes Plug-ins. That folder is empty by default.
 
This "error" has been around for a long time it seems.

Try going into the Library folder at the root level of your hard drive.

ie, YOUR_HD_NAME/Library/iTunes/iTunes Plug-ins/Now Playing.bundle

Remove the "Now Playing.bundle"
