Yeah. I can't stand political threads and **** like that. It ticks the heck out of me to see such a discussion.

What do you have planned for an avatar, hitman?

I'm messing around in Photoshop making just some random images. I though some lightning would look cool. I need to do more work (i.e. some layers, etc) but I have started this :

Have you tried ***** around with the gradient tool using a difference? You can get some really cool patterns. That's how I developed those 7 or 8 desktops in the "I know some hate this..." forum. It takes some getting used to, but it is worth while.

Nah, I have not really had much time to mess around with Photoshop. I just "aquired" it. :D

Which version??? I have access to 6.0.x, and might be obtaining a copy of 7 soon... If things go through that is. I own Illustrator 10, as well as Bryce 5, which I have been thinking about using to create some screen backgrounds. I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

I'm on the same road, Techmyster. I have PS 6.0.1 at home in NJ, but somehow I managed to have 4.0.1 on my computers in Maine. I look forward to a 7.x.x upgrade soon. The problem with our upgrading software like this (my family) is that we are basically strapped for cash.

But as long as I have Photoshop 6 I should be happy. I want 7 so bad.

I have Photoshop 6.0 and Illustrator 10.

I really want to get the 7.0 upgrade for Photoshop so I can run it under X.

I need 7 so that I can run it native in OS X. I would go out and purchase a full copy, except I don't have the spare green at the moment... Maybe I will be able to put it into the budget for next year...

Figures this fight would play out in this thread about Synergy mAAC - an assistive device for the disabled (speech & movement) from the company Speak With US.

I'd really hate to see what symbols would be needed to have this fight using this device.

For one thing, Bubba, I am fairly certain that the God of this site doesn't saction warez, or obtaining software that you [normally] purchase for nothing.

Many of us that are/were in the graphic design field learned to use some powerfull applications. It makes life much easier when you have those apps at home. Those of us in the tech field, install those same applications on systems day after day, and have to support them as well. Once you get into a corporate environment, you learn how important it is to have valid licenses for the software. The only applications that I do not own, and intend to purchase as soon as I can, is PS7 and Quark. I am waiting on Quark until it is OS X native.
