OK, so I was looking around an app using my iPod Touch 4G and I noticed a "Send SMS" button. Now, I knew that the iPod couldn't send an SMS, but I just pressed the button to see what would happen. So this weird screen popped up (see attached screenshot). When I quit it I tried to find it in the multitasking bar, but it wasn't there. I think it's some remnant of the SMS functionality in the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Does anyone know what it really is?

EDIT: I just tried it again and I can't open the multitasking bar while this screen is showing. Also, it quits by itself after 10 secs.

Where exactly did you look and where did you notice that button?

Maybe some remnants of an iPhone-restore?

I was messing around with this QR (Quick Response) code scanning app, and tried a sample QR code that told the device to send an SMS to the number 12345678901 (which wouldn't work). And I haven't got an iPhone, but I wouldn't mind one! ;)

I was also able to replacate this also with that qr code app and a generated qr code from my computer. Facetext anyone?
