I sometimes have this item that shows up to the left of the brightness toggle, that is shaped like a circle with 4 bars (bar graph) in it. When I press it nothing happens. Anyone know what this is? Is this a bug?

it does appear when you are looking to a video in safari for example?

It just shows up randomly. I can switch from safari to calendar to mail. It's still there. It's like it's part of the default controls.

When you are playing a youtube video in Safari for example, you can use this button to control the video even if you're in some other app, very useful! :)

Can you explain? What can you control in a video and why does it show even when I'm not watching a video.

You can scrub through the video and play/pause it.

Hmm... That's weird, I only see it when I'm playing a video in the background. It's a bug maybe

I love you can scrub right thru youtube commercials with the touch bar. I assume that will be changed lol
