Hey all,

I'm no expert on iMacs, and a friend of mine might buy this used iMac and I don't want him to get ripped off. So what would you pay for this?

If it's in good condition, I guess around £500-600, however that would have to be lower in $, as we in England get horrifically ripped off for everything.
It's like heaven every year when I go to Spain and I can get wine for around 3-4 euros.

Back on topic (o.o), yeah, he shouldn't pay too much, since the components aren't anything spectacular.

That's the machine I have at work. Works fine for desktop publishing, though it might be a bit whack for gaming or heavy video editing. I sold a 2006 20" iMac for £200 recently, so this should easily be £500-700 I'd say.

But as has been said, depends on the condition.
