Some random white plastic thing with an Apple sticker stuck to it. I'd need more than just that one picture to have any hope of identifying it.

Looks vaguely like it might be something you set your laptop on to use "docked"? I'm guessing that the USB ports on the 'right' (below in the picture) it are part of it, anyway. I can't tell if the middle part goes all the way through or is closed off on the side opposite the camera, but maybe those were meant to hold hard drives or something...

I don't know - that picture just doesn't show enough of it to get any feel for what it actually is. But it is obviously an Apple sticker like comes with every new Apple product on it, rather than a printed-on Apple logo. So I don't think it is an official Apple product any more than my HP laptop with an Apple sticker covering the HP logo is an Apple product.

Yeah looking at it now I see the sticker. Don’t know how I missed that at the store. I guess I was distracted by the sales guy saying it was some rare apple point of sale thing. I thought it was rather ugly for something made by apple. I was in a hurry. Didn’t buy it. Was just curious. Did come out with another quicksilver though.

Ah, maybe it was a third-party point-of-sale terminal thingy that held an iPad? Or someone just slapped an Apple sticker on a random thingy.
