I just went into the apple site and tried to check the order status on my 17" imac and keep getting..."Did not receive any response from application. It is possible that the application does not exist, or that the requested url is incorrect. " I tried loading it several times but keep getting the same message. Anybody else have this problem?

It sounds like Apple is either upgrading their store or getting ready to update it with new goodies. I would wait until after tommorow and if it still does not show up then to call Apple and start bitching at them.

The actual store seems OK, it's the order status stuff that appears to be screwed. It's been out for at least 90 mins. Annoying, I want to see if there's any update on my wife's iPod (mine took off from Taiwan this morning...and doesn't seem to have landed yet).

I just called Apple to ask the status of my order since that part of the website is not currently available.

According to the Apple person on the phone, the website is being updated. Although she couldn't tell me exactly what was changing.

oh crap - I wonder if they're going to do a midnight release of new machines? Why would they update the site the day before, they usually only do it right before a release.

Hmmm, I'll have to stay up a little later tonight

D

Well, once the store goes down, it takes them but an hour to update it and get it running (I think... )

I can't remember, but it seems like sometimes after they update their store, they keep it the same until later, when they just change the main page and other pages to reflect the availability of these new PowerMacs... Have they ever done this before? My memory on this is very fuzzy...

well, there appear to be price updates leaking through, try searching for a powerbook via the searchbar, that icon price is pretty cheap. A midnight release would be super cool, but hghly unusual, of course, mostly only us mac heads would notice, so its not that wierd.;)
