What is up with safari?

Get this weird thing, safari occasionally freezes while browsing and shows a red square. This happens at least twice a week and recently the battery exchange site has been a catalyst. I've reset and deleted preferences to no avail. Sigh...

Weird. Do you have any add ons installed? Have you tried resetting it from the Safari menu? 🙂

Okay, maybe create a new user account and check if Safari behaves the same way from there. 🙂

the battery site was doing that to me. It occurs sometimes when the server of the website you are going to screws up for a second, it effects safari but not many other browsers

and by freeze do you mean really freezes and crashes or just a temp freeze?

Use Shiira. Best browser available, hands down.

That's easily debatable. I've tried it and found it clumsy and trying to be too much. For me, Camino is the best.

Not that i know of but mine seem to have disappear for a while. Maybe 10.4.8.
