they say there are 0 Messages in iCloud 0kb Storage is used for Messages in iCloud, but i have time to download this messages before the really will be deleted.

i can withdraw deletion. and deletion will be done in -124 days.

on my wife and daughters devices the same ********. both with deletion will be done in -995 days.

will apple tell us with this, that Messages in Cloud will never be deleted or what is going wrong here?

Sorry for German Screenshot maybe someone have a screenshot in english also with such stupid deletion intervalls.

One thing to check is if your date and time settings are on automatic. If so, I’d put in a support ticket. My iOS 26 devices do not have negative number when I select turn off and delete.

Date Time Settings are on automatic and showing correct Date and also correct Time. I noticed this first with iOS 26. its also so on iPadOS 26.2.1.

I dont use Messages in Cloud. I have used them Years ago but disabled them on all devices and also selected turn off and delete.

I'm not arguing with you that you're seeing this issue; I'm pointing out that it isn't normal compared to my 26.x setup (I went and checked before I replied). Good luck to you! Apple Support has been helpful to me in times like this, you might contact them.
