The MR forum members are not "paid" to be experts here, this is a community share site so we offer what we know. Don't knock resetting the NVRAM or Repair Permissions, both have corrected issues that I have had on my Mac, those tools wouldn't be on the Mac OS if they were completely worthless.

You want "expert" help pull out your credit card and take your Mac to the Apple store or a certified tech.:p

That's kind of harsh. I was merely implying that everyone is so quick to suggest that option when they likely have no idea what it actually does. Like chill out, I didn't insult Apple or anyone else.

Who said anything about insulting Apple? You chill out! I'm personally fed up with people like you who are quick to put down a suggestion someone else makes to help someone else as if you are all mighty on your high horse. FYI the repair permissions suggestion that I made to the OP worked and corrected his issue. You need to be cool and stop acting so self righteous. Oh for heavens sake don't mention repair permissions or resetting the NVRAM you've just committed a felony according to Dustman.

I suggest running around your dinner table 13 times while rubbing your stomach, patting your head and chanting "Jai ma Kali, jai ma Kali!"

Remember, don't shoot down my suggestion! It really works!

The Mighty Mouse is a worthless piece of crap. I've tried cleaning it multiple times but the scroll wheel still won't work. It's hard to see how Apple knowingly peddles worthless mice.
