There's light leakage under screen, how does this happen and will apple do anything?

I've heard of that problem before. I don't think it's normal - mine does not have that at all.

I would make a backup and make a Genius bar appointment and get it replaced (I assume it's still under warranty?).
 
Yea it's still under warranty, I didn't notice it until today and now it just bothers me knowing its there. Will they just replace the screen on the iPad?
 
Apple store will definitely swapit put if you are unhappy. I had the same issue with 2 previous new iPads
 
I have the exact same thing on my iPad, but I never use it at that angle so I never bothered to retun it.
