For some reason this process seems suspicious to me and I can't find anything about it on the web.

What particularly makes you think it's suspicious?

The process is stored on disk at:

/System/Library/Frameworks/ApplicationServices.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/ATS.framework/Versions/A/XPCServices/XType.FontHelper.xpc/Contents/MacOS/XType.FontHelper

...and is part of OS X.

Ok, thanks for confirming. There was actually no real reason at all for it being suspicious, just my gut telling me 😉. I checked my processes after some weird behavior and didn't recognize this one, so it stood out.
