Just got my 11" 8GB 256GB i5, and got kind of surprised after installing iStat. The CPU is idling at 43 C on a flat glass table. I bought the i5 for lower temps, but I'm pretty sure I have seen people with i7's claim 30 C idle temps? Mine goes pretty quickly to 80 with some browser tabs and XBMC running updating the library, and jumps quickly to 97 C if I launch some "yes > /dev/null" processes.
So, what's your temps? iStat uses the "CPU Core PECI" value by default. Preferrably from 11" since that what I have.
Think I'll have to return this, won't be able to play Diablo 3 with this on my lap...
