So much easier since I converted my email from POP to IMAP. Couldn't stand reading 10 emails during the day on my phone and all being unread on my computer.

Mail badge? Not sure what you mean, but if you are just talking about how many unread mails I have in my inbox....0!

I'm somewhat OCD about that. All my mails are either read and filed or trashed. My gf has thousands of unread mails in her box, and whenever I walk by her computer it drives me crazy!

I took have an OCD about my Mail... I have to read mail as soon as I get it, and either delete it, put it in the junk, or file it!

My girlfriends inbox is full of spam mail and newsletters from various websites, and it drives me mad looking at it...

I have none on my Mac at home, although after a week off work I'll have hundreds to answer when i go back on Monday.
One of my workmates has over 3000 deleted messages in his trash which he won't empty... in case he ever needs one of them.

If you have a lot of mail in your inbox, and you feel it is a little out of control you might want to take a look at this.

I get 50+ emails a day and currently my inbox has no emails in it.

I check email routinely so mine never builds up too much.

0 unread emails. I make sure to be up-to-date, but it isn't very difficult considering I don't receive a lot of mail.
