my camera is sony w80, which i am okay with. I heard cannon is better tho?

Btw what kind of photo editing software do you guys use?
:D

I have a Kodak EasyShare Z612, and it's the best camera I've ever owned.

It comes with a disk for Kodak EasyShare software, which is okay (I'd give it a "B' or a "B-").

There's a decent freeware picture editing program called L-View that I've used for years. For some specific things, it's easier than alot of the nicer programs. One major flaw is that it has problems handling large files.

I have a Sony Handycam that I use for video. But, I honestly don't take alot of video.

I bought a Canon A560IS a few months ago and love it. It has image stabilizer, viewfinder, 8mp, manual functionality, 4x optical zoom, and many other great features. It is also just a beautiful camera esthetically, and fits well in the hand without feeling like you are going to drop it. I did a lot of comparisons with Nikon, Sony, Kodak, and Olympus cameras in the same price range and this was the best in my opinion. Canon also provides its own photo software which you can download from its site.

Canon Powershot A400 (Lime Green)

It's really starting to show it's age: the cycle time has always taken awhile, but it seems damn near forever before i can snap another shot. The batteries are completely shot, the case is scratched up, and it's only got a 2.2X optical zoom

Yet...

It still manages to take great pictures. I've taken over 2000 pictures with it, and I would say 85% have turned out to be useable. That's pretty damn good for a old cheap camera. My next camera will be a Canon.

I don't have my own camera, let alone a P&S, but I use my mom's XTi to the point where it's practically mine. :D

Fuji F31fd, the last great p&s camera for high ISO. ;) I bought one right after Fuji announced its "successor" in July 07. Things will never be the same.

I may get other point and shoot cameras for the features and size, but I'm never getting rid of this Fuji.

Cannon are meant to make very good camaras.

Mine is a cheap one I got a few years ago, I tend to use my phone for photo-taking these days anyway.

my everyday camera is a casio exilim, purely for the fact that it's very thin. i keep it in my purse all the time. i also like that it's got a rechargeable battery, which has quite a decent life to it.

it's by no means anything spectacular, but my camera before this one was some huge 1.3MP fuji clunker from like 2001, so the casio was heavenly when i got it.

Canon SD750 7.1 megapixels.
It's a really nice camera, but damn that screen is sensitive.
One little tap and it has a dark spot now.
:(
I wonder if my warranty covers that...
