Right now my dream job would be something stress free. Salary whatever that job would normally pay.
Yeah, should have been clearer there. “Something with a lot less stress than my current job” would be a better wish for.Pretty sure laying in a hammock with a margarita isn’t a paid position.
Damn, that’s a good one. Also gives me an idea for my less stressful option. I’d have to do some extra certs, but diving instructor at a tropical resort sounds perfect![]()
Surf. I'd do it for food and shelter(Been way too long since my last go out).
Now I'm jealous.Dream salary = Hieverone + $1
That's a good one. I have done it a few times, and it can be fun. Not for 20 years or so though.Lottery winner. Does that count?
Always wanted to be a stand up. Never had the balls to try it. I think it would have been fun years ago. Then get a sitcom on NBC and live off the royalties for the rest of my life.
Not for all the money in the world thanks.Pornstar + $1m annually + bonuses for doing threesomes and foursomes
I'm living my dream job now. Collecting Military Retirement, Social Security and Trucking retirement checks for the rest of my life. Excellent Health Care, all I pay is Medicare (Tricare4Life) monthly deductible and the rest is covered by the military. Free prescriptions from the military base. Shop on base for food, computers, clothing etc. everything is Non Taxable. Every day is a Weekend for me. Go to bed and wake up when I want. Love collecting and spending those retirement checks!![]()
Not for all the money in the world thanks.
I'd like to be a full time photographer paid the same as a premier league footballer with the holiday of a teacher.
Oh and the job security of a judge!
I'd settle for the salary and the photography bit. I can get by on 5 weeks a year like I do now if I'm doing those two things. You probably want the holiday of a pro footballer too. Teachers don't get the holiday time most people think.
My only goal in life is to be “comfortable”. I make a comfortable salary with my day job, and have a healthy business venture on the side. Most importantly I enjoy my work despite the stress (which can be motivating) and heartbreak of working in medicine (a part a life and what comes with the territory). I can afford everything I need and more, and can put aside savings for the future.
I’m open to wherever my career aspirations take me and don’t really have a “goal” salary. I think most everyone would always be preferred to paid more/believe they deserve to be paid more, but people who chase money tend to be miserable in my observation.
go around to companies and learn new jobs. learn the details of a job then move onto the next one.
