My favorite feature is definitely the retina display. I wasn't really expecting to notice much of a difference (from 3GS), but I am beyond impressed.

1) Faster processor and more system RAM: much much *much* faster user experience. Night and day. This has been huge.
2) Retina display. Unfreakingbelievable.
3) Multitasking. Combined with #1, really nifty.
4) FaceTime. It just works.
(Edit: this is compared to 3G. Compared to 3GS it's the display hands down.)

The absence of the curvy back really makes holding the device for phone calls and gaming a pleasure. ESPECIALLY gaming. I can now hold it at the bottom corners without really a problem.
And once devs start implementing the gyroscope on a wide scale? Can't wait for that.

I like the dual microphones. Now I can put people on speakerphone and they can actually hear me.
Display is nice. So is the overall speed, although not as noticeable going from 3G to 3GS.

Retina display...it makes me WANT to read books on it, unlike my old 3GS, which just made me feel kinda depressed. As a whole, the iPhone 4 is just perfect IMO.
1. Display is amazing, looks better than my MacBook.
2. Camera: Photo quality and features are very nice.
3. Battery: Thank God they finally made the iPhone last at least a whole day.
4. Speed: You can't go wrong with anything being faster.
