Mixed Drink: Long Island Iced Tea
I was at a party a few years back and they were making, what they called, Pick Panty Pulldowns.
Of course I tried it.
It was Pink Lemonade and Bud Light. It was actually good.
As of this week:
Drink: White Russian
Beer: Budweiser Select
Mixed: 1. Mojito, 2. Jameson & Coke, 3. Vodka & Red Bull
Beer: Summer - Bulmers (Cider), Winter - Guinness
With the weather this year I'm still drinking Guinness
(And lots of it later today - I'm finishing my exams )
Local Nelson beer
Balfour Single Malt (during the winter season)
Mixed: Vodka & Red Bull (sugar-free) (though I like appletinis and mojitos, too)
Beer: on tap- Lost Coast's Great White Belgian ale (semi-cheating: Wyder's pear cider )
Mixed: Long Island Iced Tea or a nice strong frozen Margarita
Beer: Killian's Irish Red (right now) and if I'm feeling prideful in my home state of Texas, Shiner Bock
Tom Collins, neat.
Cocktail: either a Germain-Robin Sidecar or Maker's Mark Old Fashioned
Beer: Chimay Grande Reserve
Jager Bombs (Jager & Redbull)
CC & Cola (Canadian Club & Cola)
SoCo Cola (Southern Comfort & Cola)
Neat means straight, like a shot. But a cocktail isn't straight by definition. It was a joke :3 Someone got it in the last thread.
In seriousness, I do drink Tom Collins though.
Beer: Fat Tire
Mixed drinks (what i can think of off the top of my head):
- Cadillac Margarita
- Long island ice tea
- white russians
Mixed drink: Mojito (changes often )
Beer: well well well guys, be jealous because im on placement in the best beer town in the world - Munich. They are too good. At the moment I'm drinking Augustina and Spartan a lot!! (Like 2 pints a day (1 litre) hehe at least!!)
Mix: Jack & Coke (though mojitos and long islands are great aswell)
Beer: Dos Equis
spartan beer? wow, that sounds good and freakin awesome. gotta find a way to get hold of that stuff....
OK you threw me there.
THIS IS SPARTA!!!!!
Sorry, I had to do it.
I'm not too big on mixed drinks, so I can't say I really have a favorite. My favorite beer though is probably Boulevard unfiltered wheat. You've probably never heard of it because I don't think it's sold outside Missouri. It's kinda similar to Blue Moon, except better.
Although I really will drink just about any beer. Haven't tried many, but so far, the only one that I found disgusting was Guinness.
Lies, it's Brussels.
Anyways, favorite mixed drink is by far a gin & tonic (Tanqueray and it's variants, Beefeater, Hendricks), gin & coke is good, Jack (or the other Tennessee whiskey, George Dickel) & coke is also good.
Beer: Hoo boy! I like most stouts, especially chocolate and/or coffee stouts, (Russian) Imperial stouts (mmm, 12% ABV...), cream stouts (Sam Adams) and Irish stouts (Guinness, Beamish, Murphy's, I need to try O'Hara's), oatmeal stouts I'm not so keen on. I also like: blueberry ales, porters (Sam Adams Honey Porter, scotch ales (especially cask conditioned ones, *drool*), barleywines, Belgian quadrupel, and oh so many more. Plus, there's always my favorite malty fallback, Sam Adams Boston Lager.
And please, do your taste buds a favor, don't use a chilled glass.
Never heard of gin and Coke before. I usually mix white rum with coke, but I'll have to try the gin and Coke sometime.
