Pardon me as I enter Apple fanboy mode...
I love EVERYTHING about this laptop (I have the 2.4ghz unibody model). Going from a 12" PowerBook, I appreciate everything about this machine. I love the clean, sleek lines... right down to the little dip in the unibody construction that surrounds the keyboard... the MagSafe adaptor (which has already saved my laptop once so far)... the battery level indicator on the side instead of the bottom... the glossy display (everything looks SO much better than it did on my PowerBook)... the magnetic latch and not worrying about whether or not it'll wear out and not close anymore (like what happened with the PB)... and even the clean lines on the bottom of the laptop.
And that just covers appearance/construction. Power wise, this thing is a dream. I went for the MacBook instead of the MacBook Pro because of the size, but I feel like (with 4gb of RAM and an upgraded 500gb HD), it could easily conquer any tasks that I use my desktop for. Even World of Warcraft with every option maxed out runs as smooth as butter. Amazing. And it goes without saying, but I wouldn't trade OSX for any other OS, ever.
Okay... end of fanboy mode
