My favourite twitter client for iPhone is Twitter for iPhone (the official app). Before that, I used Tweetie 2 (same app, just acquired by Twitter). I've tried many others (Osfoora, Twitterific, Tweetdeck, etc.), but none of them match the official one in my opinion.

As for an app that has twitter & facebook in one, I have no idea. I don't mix together social networking, especially when they are two very different types of social networking. The only app I've used that lets you monitor both facebook & twitter is Socialite, but it's a Mac app.

Tried a crap load of them for iPhone and iPad and Twitterific won on both.

Definitely the official Twitter app. Speaking of it (Tweetie), i hope we see Tweetie 2 for Mac soon!
Agreed. Tweetie for Mac is my preferred twitter client for Mac. Last I heard, Loren is working on a beta of Tweetie 2 for Mac. I bought it through the MacHeist bundle, so I'm supposed to get access to the beta. I hope the Mac client has lots of features from the iPhone client, as I find the iPhone client is way ahead of the Mac one :(

i've tried at least 5 different apps and Echofon is my favorite. Recently downloaded the official twitter app but haven't used it much. Twitbird is my 2nd fav.

I'm using Twitbird and I'm pretty fond of it. Switched from Twitterrific Premium because the devs decided they wanted to charge me (again) for Retina-compatible graphics. gg.

Tweetdeck for me as it's the only one that highlights peoples new tweets when you open it, needs updating for iPhone 4s retina display though

so far, i test drove echofon, twitterific, and the offical twitter app. i've been using osfoora for awhile and i like it okay. didn't think it was worth the price though.

just downloaded icebird tonight and i like it a lot. time will tell if it is all it's cracked up to be.

Icebird is a stunning experience, my favourite followed close behind by TweetList and SimplyTweet

Tweetie2/Twitter for iPhone were my favourite Twitter clients. But the truth is, for one reason or another, they are just falling behind the competition in terms of features in my honest opinion. The same goes for Tweetie for mac.

I personally would recommend Osfoora and Osfoora HD for the iPad.

I've tried (and paid for) them all, but have settled with Osfoora.

iPhone - Osfoora
iPad - Osfoora HD
Desktop/laptop - TweetDeck

You may consider our iPhone Twitter app called Twittium.

It's available on the App Store for $0.99.

So far I can't find anything I like better than Twittelator Pro it is beautiful on the iPad and the most fully featured for the iphone that I have messed with.
