Really good sushi served omokase style can't be beat.
Best tuna is otoro (fatty tuna from the belly) it melts in your mouth but it's pretty expensive.

Salmon (grilled with lots of lemon and a little dill) is probably my favorite. Too bad the wild caught is so hard to find at this time of year... I'm scared to eat the farm-raised after reading about all the toxic chemicals in it.

I actually also love cottage cheese and oatmeal (not together mind you). Two staples of my diet that I eat every day, and I crave them constantly!

Oh, and a good (vegetarian) lasagna (especially the one I make myself, with roasted red pepper sauce) is another favorite.

What does it taste like? Chicken?
Capybara or "chihuiro" as it's called in Colombia has more of a roast beef with a bad hair day type effect on the palate. Toughness must be endured while chewing, but it goes a long way to help with mom's old advice of "chewing your bite 50+ times before swallowing". Taste is acquired and greatly enhanced by taking Nexium or Tagamet immediately after each meal. :)

There's not blood curdled desesert though.

Oh, indeed there is. My neighbors make it all the time. Some sort of blood pudding/custard stuff.

I never have - and never will - eat though.

Damn, this thread came at an unconveniant time - I'm at school and now I'm hungry. I'll probably have to go home soon then. And if I could choose freely what to eat I'd go for some Thai. A nice, spicy green curry with coconut milk. Another day I could've chosen something Italian.

oooh my poor little empty stomach

Steak - A filet of red meat just sitting there cooked medium rare... oh so tender. And garlic cheddar mashed potatoes, and grilled asparagus..... mmmmmm

And a lot of other types of food too, but steak is my absolute favorite.

Green stuff

Greek Salads, Humus, Tehina, olive oil, garlic....its tasty and healthy...give a try to organic Yogi- Yammi stuff. ;)

Spicy Thai rice noodles... fried oysters... Eggs Benedict... quiche lorraine (we do TOO eat quiche!)... bacon double cheeseburger with Jalapeno Jack cheese... chocolate... chips and queso... popcorn with butter and garlic salt... filet mignon with Bearnaise sauce at Morton's... <drools uncontrollably>

Thanks, you made me ruin my keyboard. ;)

Favorite foods:

Eggplant Parmesan, tofu and mixed vegetables, veggie hot dogs and gardenburgers, spinach nuggets, cheese Pizza, cheese quesadillas, cheese sticks, kettle corn with m&ms melted all over, Reece cups, vanilla bean frappuccinos...I better stop there, getting ready to run on the treadmill!! :)

I love italian food. One of my favorite dishes is Chicken Bryan @ Carrabbas. Yummy!

I love:
italian
spanish
peurto rican (it's a little different)
Japanese (including Sushi)
Chinese
Thai
Korean (KIMSHI RULES!)
German (though, its hard to find good German food in Colorado!)
and of course, good ol' American hamburgers and steaks!

The only food I cannot stand is anything from the Middle East. I used to have to go into customer's homes, and every time I walked into the house of a middle-eastern family I wanted to vomit from that curry smell. ECK! I've had it a couple of times and its just not good to my stomach.
