Nice games imo are Fifa11 and Galaxy on Fire 2 ;)

I was going to say Flipboard as well. Great app for reading items from your feeds that you normally wouldn't pause to check out.

I'm starting to use Hootsuite quite a bit lately myself. Love having Twitter, Facebook, and Foursquare feeds on one screen when in landscape. It's starting to become my "default" app that I always open when sitting down with my iPad.

My favorite time killing casual game is "Angry Birds".

As far as educational apps go? There's just so many.

"The Elements" (interactive periodical table) is a good app for demonstrating the unique interactive capabilities of the iPad (and other tablets), The astronomy apps, such as "StarWalk", the Music apps, such as "Magic Piano" and "Jam Pad", the medical apps, such as "3D organs"

I really like the "Appzilla" and Appzilla2" app They're .99 each, but contain about 100 different utility apps in 1, including police scanners, financial and other types of calculators, maps, instruments, all kinds of things.

Which ones are best though really depends on your own personal interests and what you'd like to learn.

Real Racing 2 HD.

I've also downloaded Splashtop. Although I rarely use it, I'm completely blown away I'm able to remotely access all my home computers for the small price of the 59p app. Superb!

Angry Birds
Words With Friends
Chelsea Soccer

For me, those are great time killing apps.

Netflix
Xfinity
NBA Courtside
Score Mobile
Words With Friends

My personal favorite is the Wedding Countdown app.

Safari. :D
Seriously, I do substantially more browsing, than everything else combined.

The rest(in no particular order):
Twitteriffic.
Air Video.
Real Racing 2 HD.
iCab. (for.. other kinds of password-protected, 'visual' browsing :D )
Dropbox.
Engadget.
BBC iPlayer.
YouTube.
Pinball HD.
Atari Greatest Hits.
Capcom Arcade(an iPhone app, but feels better on the bigger screen).
Email.

i have gone full-on retard for Flipboard. this is one app i wouldnt complain if it were pre-installed on all iOS devices. the layout, white space, previews... everything about the UI grabs me and pulls me in for hours of reading per day.

it feels like a real-time updated magazine with all of the content i want. it's ridiculously good and until i got it, was close to returning my iPad for not having a real purpose in my life. with Flipboard, the time i used to spend on my iPhone catching up with news via twitter/rss/podcasts/websites is now spent on the iPad, using less than half the time due to it's more efficient content delivery.

sorry. like i said, i'm full-on retard for this app and have since tossed out News360 and Pulse.

beyond that, i also use My Mac to access my iMac server at home, Zumocast to stream movies from that server, VLC player for locally stored video, and AirFrame to stream audio and video from my iPhone.
