I am somewhat ashamed to admit how much time I've been spending with the solitaire game I recently downloaded. Just plain old solitaire.

Though atomic probably actually wins for most time used, and I'll add another voice to the flipboard love. My husband and I are both addicted to the game Pocket Frogs and I also love zynga's new game Drop7.

Reeder - having feeds categorized helps

Bing - hated this app on iPhone.. on iPad it rocks - good for quick (general) news and weather

Solitaire - straight-up crack

I like Flipboard for it's layout but still prefer Reeder to powering through news/feeds

Twittelator and Echofon tie for Twitter app

Torn between WeatherBug and Fahrenheit (I like that you can double-tab items in side menu in WeatherBug to get middle window view).. although WB seems to get Wind Chill wrong every day.. it's not 0 deg. F in SoCal.

BBC News app is well done IMO

1Password

RadarScope if you live near bad storms or tornadoes (no longer applicable for me) LIVE NOAA radar feeds versus delayed news "radars".

QuakeWatch is a great earthquake app (now applicable)

WordBook XL

myConvert

Terra (as browser option)

PhotoStudio HD (tons of functionality)

ColorSplash

My favorite time killing casual game is "Angry Birds".

As far as educational apps go? There's just so many.

"The Elements" (interactive periodical table) is a good app for demonstrating the unique interactive capabilities of the iPad (and other tablets), The astronomy apps, such as "StarWalk", the Music apps, such as "Magic Piano" and "Jam Pad", the medical apps, such as "3D organs"

I really like the "Appzilla" and Appzilla2" app They're .99 each, but contain about 100 different utility apps in 1, including police scanners, financial and other types of calculators, maps, instruments, all kinds of things.

Which ones are best though really depends on your own personal interests and what you'd like to learn.

ok thanks for sharing what is your top favorite?

In this order from most to least used:

iBooks
Flipboard
Friendly
Words with Friends HD
Mail
Safari
Hulu+
Netflix

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPad; U; CPU OS 4_2 like Mac OS X; en) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8C134b Safari/6533.18.5)

iCab - browsing
iFiles - full file system and file transfer
Reeder - RSS feeds. I get all my news from it

Because I use my iPad primarily for web work and casual browsing of various types, my favorite app is Evernote.

The ability to easily capture virtually anything, and store it where I can gain access from any computer, phone or device is simply the best.

Is it the new HeartsWild solitaire game? That's a really great game, and possibly the most stunning graphics I've even seen in a card game. It's also one of the most popular apps right now.

Hmmm...

After taking a step back and actually thinking about it I've realised that my most used apps at the mo are AVPlayerHD, iDJ and djay.

top favorite? evernote

after that: goodreader, voodoopad, kotoba!, hulu plus, sugarsync, gFlashPro, Pages, and RecorderPro
