Mostly, yes! :)

I think the (dorsal) medial pre-frontal cortex is also usually very important because it handles theory of mind (understanding what someone else knows and might think based on information and experience available to them, which may be different from the information and experience available to you). But a lot of the basics are right -- language is on the left for most people, and the right brain is responsible for forming an impression of the big picture or gestalt. The VMPFC or orbitofrontal cortex is responsible for a lot of social cognitions and emotional interpretations...

But there was an interesting research project done a couple of years ago where they were trying to find specific cognitive processes that were impaired by frontal lobe epilepsy...they were hardly able to find anything, but one of the few things that came out was that, if you showed patients with the condition a humorous cartoon, they didn't think it was funny and could not provide a detailed explanation of the humor in the cartoon, at much higher rates than people with no frontal impairment!
