Do you name your iPod?

I don't know why I ever named my iPod, or why i even felt the need to carry it over to my new shuffle. I've even gone as far as adding I, II, III, and IV after the name since I'm on my fourth 3G iPod.

Does anyone else name their iPod? And is there any significance behind it?

What's your iPod's name. Well, on my Mac it's name it Joe's iPod, but I like to call it what the word "iPod" looks like. ee-pode :)

I just went and called my iPod Mr. iPod. When you add to it and make it Mr. iPod IV, it sounds a bit noble.

My shuffle, on the other hand, is Señor Shuffle.

My iPod's name is "Todd's Pod" however, I don't actually refer to it....I refer to it as my iPod, as anything else would be dumb

Anastasia :D
I always used to wish that was my name. But I name everything. My Vespa ET4 is named Raphael, and I call my journal Harriet...

His name is iTod, he's been neutered and has all of his updates. My wife refuses to acknowledge the family's iPod naming traditions and refers to hers as...pffffft..."her ipod". We're going to counseling.

ohkay, so I asked before how to change the name of my nano, but should have mentioned that I own a PC... so anyone with a PC know how I can change the name of it?!?!?
all you do is when the iPod is plugged into your computer, go in iTunes on the left toolbarish thing to your Nano and click on the name of your iPod twice (not double click, two clicks). Then just change the name, click anywhere else in iTunes and you're done.

Mine is 'Mammoth'
And to change the name of an iPod in Windows, right click the iPod in iTunes when it's connected.
