I have noticed the red shift at times. I can see a brief red shift on the lettering. It seems to be related to the angle of my head in relation to the screen when on axis. I only see this when I am using dark mode.

So glad I’m not under the influence anymore. 🤣

These oled iPhone panels need to be discontinued asap ?‍♂️ if only apple would get rid of piss tone and night shift as well.

Can't speak for all devices but the difference in yellow from the true tone on the 12 max vs 13 max was so noticeable my wife even noticed (she has the 12 max). The 13 max has a much cooler display instead of the harsh yellowing so when disabling/enabling true tone its hard to tell.

I use light mode constantly. I love the whites. But I’m an ex Samsung user. S3 to s20. Just changed to iPhone.

I used to do all dark all day long, but it got hard to read dark in the sun. I use auto now.

Dark mode, as it uses less battery on oled models. Also better for me on the eyes.

Auto mode + Dark Reader extension for Safari. Renders all websites in true dark mode when phone is set to night mode (or all the time if you prefer) and no wonky colors. It’s better than Samsung’s Android browser re: dark mode, which was my go-to on Android.
