My MBP is called Braeburn - because that's my favourite variety of apple :p :apple:

And my Airport Extreme Base Station is called Heathrow.

My iPhone and iPad show a lack of imagination as they are simply Parish's iPhone/iPad respectively.

I named my Macbook book "White Betty". She's still chugging along. Turned 4 on June 26, 2010.
My iPod Classic's name is "beatrice".
My old 8GB iPod Touch was named "Bertha".

Whenever I get an iPhone 4, it'll be named similarly. I like old people's names lol.

At first I used the names of Greek Gods but found it too confusing to keep track. I then switched to more descriptive names such as File Vault, Monolith, Slim &c. I also tried various Sci Fi names like HAL but none ever seemed to work until around 2004 I switched to Transformers names as they seemed the most appropriate. Though I never cared for the cartoon in the 80's nor the current movies, I was reminded of them by the PS2 game.

Starscream - Whatever my current main laptop is.
Megatron - My main desktop
Sawtooth - My smartphone
Optimus Prime - Main Network
Cybertron - Server

Other computers on the network will just get random character names as they rarely get used and are rarely turned on. I can only match the names to a few of the characters. I just chose those that sounded the best.

I try to keep all mine the same, my name is Simon so my old mac was called

SiMac (Si Mac)
SiPhone 4 (Si Phone 4)
SiPod (Si Pod)

Also got the iPod engraved with SiPod lol.

my macbook air is called "airbot", my iPhone is "phonebot", my old iPod video's name is "mediabot", my time capsule an my airport express are called "tcs59" and "aes59"( Time Capsule Sax5090 and Airport Express Sax5090 - Sax5090 my home network's name ;) )

My old laptop, which I recently sold was named Jango. My new laptop's name is Boba.

Other names of computers of mine have been Thresher, Mercury, Mystic, Polaris (my current iMac), Gemini, Neo, and truthfully Jango encompassed two units: One was an 867MHz TiBook, the other was a 1.33GHz Al Book.

Mac Pro: Thor
MacBook Pro: Thor's Spawn
iPhone: Thor's Phone
iPod touch: Thor's Spawn's Spawn
AirPort Extreme: YYC-1
AirPort Express: YYC-2

I really hope the Calgary Airport doesn't get pissed at me for that...

"Elendil." Lord of the Rings lore has been on my mind for quite a while since starting The Silmarillion.
