I want to check out a few games that can keep me entertained for a while. I prefer a mix of ones that don't use the accelerometer (like Fieldrunners) and maybe a couple that do use the accelerometer. Chances are if you like it, I like it. These are the games that I have purchased: Rolando: Love it. Bought it today. Fieldrunners: Meh, it's alright. Got it today to, i'm used to TapDefense. Super Monkey Ball: Never play it anymore since i beat it. Enigmo: Boring. (Bought it when it was $10...) The Price Is Right: Fun. Flick Fishing: Also fun. Trism: Kinda boring. I'm thinking about getting Sim City and Monopoly. So i need some help. I like playing iPhone games when I'm getting ready to fall asleep. It's a good way to relax. Thank you.
Crash Bandicoot(sp?) - Ahh I normally hate racing games but it's pretty sweet Super Monkey Ball - Was good for awhile but it not saving makes for long sittings to get anywhere Topple - It's ok.. ClockBlock - It's just hilarious for awhile Flight Of The Hamsters - Well I'm biased here since I helped develop it but I can play it for hours! Haven't tried too many.. I honestly don't have enough time to just play them sometimes since I walk to work .
Trism boring?? No way?! Well it's your opinion but I love it. Anyway, here's a list of the other apps I play that I could recommend for you: Frenzic (no accelerometer) fun, fast puzzle game. TouchGrind (no accelerometer) virtual techdeck game. Fun. QuickDraw (no accelerometer) If you like pictionary, get this. Super fun time killer that is online multiplayer. Only problem is there are times where no one is on. Scoops (accelerometer) fun, addicting, simple, awesome. Fingeric (no accelerometer) I like it. Cube runner (accelerometer) simple, basic and fun.
Galcon multiplayer - This one is fast paced strategy online game! Well you could play it on Edge, 3G or Wifi. Basically you conquer planets by sending fleets of ships, and the remaining person that conquers all the planets or defeats all other player wins. It has high replay value, I've been playing this game probably at least five times in a week. They have a free version if you wanna try it out (that doesn't have the multiplayer) but the multiplayer feature is the hands down of this game!
these are some of my goodies (in no particular order) Dynolicious Flick Fishing iCopter Cube Runner Live Poker Monopoly Touch Grind
Galcon is fun for long periods, hell, Galcon Light (Lite?) is awesome, but buy it if you want online. It's also fun for quick gaming session. Even my sister is playing it right now, and she doesn't play games much. Scoops is a good game that I always have a game of when I am on my Touch.
Texas Hold'em is probably my all time most played game. Got it the first day it became available and I still play it on the regular basis. You can check out Bejeweled too. My wife's favorite and most played game.
No Particular order... Ferrari GT Evolution: Big Ferrari fan, great graphics, and generally great gameplay. Space Buster: Best brick busting game and I got it when it was free. Sim City: Always been a fan of the franchise and it pretty much exact copy of one of the best Sim City 3000. FS5 Hockey: Fun air hockey game... There's more but you told me too name one and I'm already over my limit...
despite its flaws, i am a simcity fan. i think it really is the harbinger of epic apps that will begin to trickle into the app store. our review is up too! i also love tap defense and 7cities.
Fastlane - best racer I've played yet, and I've tried all but one) Chess With Friends - online chess, make a move and then come back when you've got time to make another move). I always have ten games going on. Bejeweled 2 - Pretty easy rules, fast program start up time, great way to kill short waiting times. SimCity - Loads of fun, but mine seems to keep crashing when I hit a date in 2005 Monopoly - Great for killing time with a few people (i.e. family). MonkeyBall - Challenging and fun, kind of got displaced by Fastlane though as best accelerometer game. Deep Green - Great chess engine, beautiful graphics and animations.
Favorites: 1.Heros of Sparta ($9.99 - amazing game, great graphics, lots of weapons, lots of killing) 2.Cro-mag rally ($1.99? i think - Fun game, nice graphics, fast gameplay, tons of levels and carts, only 2 characters though) 3.Motochaser (99 cents - great graphics, tons of gameplay, atleast 15 levels, 3 characters, so much fun) 4.Band ($3.99 - classic, has drums, bass guitar, piano, and some type of bar blues) I like others but those are my main 4
I know it's been out forever, but I am totally addicted to Cubes (lite). My favorite free game, and I probably use that app more than any others. Great time waster, lol.
I'm a sucker for free apps so tap tap revenge and cube runner. xD I haven't bought any apps yet. lol.
Yeah - forgot about CUBE RUNNER ... what a simple concept and wonderful game ... minimalism at its best!!
Lux Touch Fieldrunners Rolando Scrabble Labyrinth Tangram Pro Those are the main ones in my collection that get frequent play... and cube runners is awesome too. And I play Rogue Vertex, but only because I wrote it I've purchased way more games than that... its funny how many games I go through and only a small few were worth it.
Heh - nobody can name just one favorite game Really, I like different games for different moods. If I'm in the mood for a quick game that requires all my concentration, Galcon - awesome strategy game, very fast-paced but still requires strategy. If I've got a while to wait for something (like a movie in the theater to start), I'll play Chimps Ahoy - a fun arkanoid game (with two paddles, though - kinda like pong with bricks) with tons of levels. If I'm just in the mood to sit down and game for a while, I'll play Vay or Chronicles of Inotia (Japanese-style RPG's). If I want some quick arcade gaming, I'll play Missile Command or Centipede. If I just want to zone out for a bit, I'll play Wings 2 - a weird flight sim that you don't really have to pay much attention to, it's just easy to start it up and fly around randomly (using tilt controls).
Right now its between 2. Bejeweled 2 and Blackbeards Assault. However Bejeweled is getting played more because I have already finished Blackbeard twice and waiting on a challenge update.
bejewled 2 - I like this because it never seems to become stale. That's really all you can ask from a game on your phone.
Fastlane: I like cars, it is cheaper, and overall a fun game Bugdom 2: Good game, I haven't played it in a while. Flick fishing: fun, different, entertains other people who want something to do Word Warp: it isn't text twist, which sucks. Not too bad though. I have other games that I have yet to play.
I have way too many games to count (some free, some a few bucks), so I'm not going to list them all off, but, games that I have that I would recommend: Cro-Mag Rally ($1.99 now, bought it when $10) 21 Pro (free version) Platinum Solitaire ($1.99 now, bought it when $8) X-Plane ($9.99) X-Plane Airliner ($4.99) MazeFinger (free) Darts (free) Sumcession ($1.99, got it when free)
