On my previous phone (SE 810i), I used a really excellent theremin mp3; I think it'd be too quiet on my first-gen iPhone.

I'm starting to use Garageband '09 to make my own custom ringtones.

It's unreal some of the loops they include in the program. You can combine so many sounds and instruments that regular mp3 tones are now starting to sound boring to me.

If you have Garageband, you gotta give it a try.
