I also note that their is a Marvel App in the iTunes Store.

This contains approx 23 commands in the 'Jarvis' voice which you can then mail to yourself, save, import to the iTunes library and assign in your sounds setting in the iphone and iPad.

My default text tone is me clearing my throat. Half the time nobody notices it's the phone. I also have one custom text tone for my (adult) daughter - it's her saying "Mooooom," the way kids do when you've succeeded in embarrassing them.

I've used Chord since iOS 7. Sometimes I try a different one for a change of pace, but after a day or so I switch it back to Chord.

I have a bunch of custom ones that I've collected over the years from Zedge. Presently using "Ah Chew" (sounds like a small kid sneezing) as my general text tone, Minion - "Whaaat" for coworkers, Minions - "Woo Hoo Text Message" for family and Road Runner - "Meep Meep" for friends. I change them up from time time.

For text I use a variety for different people so I know who it is without looking right away.

For calls I have pinball for my wife and a personality core from Portal singing scat for everyone else.

For emails I use the automated message from the Vitrification Chambers in Portal 2. My daughter even runs around now saying, "Oh fiddlesticks! What now?"
