Have you been kidnapped?

:D No. When we moved into this house (it's a big bungalow with a couple of rooms in the roof space [big rooms]) I got one of the upstairs bedrooms, which I now use as a living room (iMac, Sofa, tables, chairs, bookcases, desks) and the attached cupboard (5' by 15' - joined by a regular door to my big room) has a big bed in it (fills the entire width of the room), a clock, some cool lights and my collection of foreign trinkets and beer bottles.

Uber (Hope that vaguely explained)

The apartment tenants above us. Stomping, raking chairs across the floor, dog chasing a bouncing ball, all at 4 a.m. They are the tenants from hell. Management has sent letters, twice. They're ignored. Some people are not supposed to live on a top floor.

Right on. I never thought it was that bright 'till I tried to sleep while it was on my bedside table.

Generally, it's worrying of some sort. I'm a professional worrier.

That and the papers I'm grading. God I hate topic sentences right about now ...

Whether or not to buy the 80GB 5.5G iPod now or hang on for the 'next big thing'.

Am I allowed to quote myself???

...anyway, just been to the local mac store and had a look and decided I can definitely wait until the next big thing.

Phew!

Now, why won't my legs go to sleep?

I think to sum it up would be thinking.

But thinking about what exactly, well, mainly this girl.

Coffee. I try not to have any coffee after 13:00 otherwise (from experience) I won't fall asleep until its almost sunrise. But it's difficult to resist the call of my office coffee machine... :(

Light and sound. I can't sleep if there is too much sound, or any light at all.

Snores. Sometimes I have woken up from the sound of my own snores. How wierd is that?

Yes, I'm like that too... I can drink almost as much coffee I want before noon, but one cup (late) in the afternoon and I'm basically up all night...

Bloody annying, especially at dinner parties and such where it's just too hard to resist when the coffee is served after dinner... :(

Thoughts of my friends. Problmes in life. Sometimes nothing I can identify. The smallest amount of light you can get will keep me awake. Any noise has the same effect.

A lot of you are complaining about your neighbors keeping you awake ...

Why put up with it?

I hate my neighbors even when they're quiet.

I'm not even going to mention all the mischievous things I've done to them.

Right now it's my 9 month old son. He's sick so he's not too happy and when he wakes up at night he's even more unhappy. Poor little guy, it sucks when you can't do anything to make 'em better. :(

usually if i know im going to have troubles paying some bills i will stress over that. but usally its because im not comfortable in my bed. light can keep me awake up to a certain point. but im usually a pretty heavy sleeper unless someone purposely is moving around, fighting really loud or something. then you will get a very unhappy me. speaking of that I had that happen once ... yeah the neighbors above me don't like me so much anymore. you interupt my sleep then you are gonna regret waking me up.

School mainly stresses me out.
Test, Quizzes, Projects, Activities, Notes, OH MY!
It's really hard for me to let that kind of stuff go.

Yeah, I'm the world's biggest procrastinator and I'm always up really, really late, yet I still end up with straight A's.....
