I am using a Samsung 2032 (it's about 3 years old I believe). The only reason I even have it, is that I bought my roomie a digital monitor so she could play WOW, and I took back my monitor. You will need a VGA adapter, and I can see the difference between my LCD and the monitor resolution wise. Having said that, the MBP handles the monitor quite well, and it looks good.

When I am at the Studio, we use Apple monitors; only because the studio paid for them.

I just got my Dell U2711 and it is great. Got it on sale here in Hong Kong for $600. :D
 
Philips E series craptastic monitor. But I dont particularly care, lets me hook up my PS3 and Macbookpro at the same time, so I can pwn noobs in MW2 and switch back to finishing my assignments inbetween games :p
