What kind of car do you drive? I'm basing this off of what country it's from, mainly because there are waaaay too many companies to list off. Choose a country, then tell us what kind of car it is in your post (forgive me if I forgot one).

I'm rollin' an '07 VW GTI.

Edit: I just realized I forgot Italy and Sweden :(. Mods if you could add Italy in there that would be awesome.

I'll be rollin' an 08 VW GTI in December when mine comes in, but for now, it's a 04 Hyundai Tiburon

Japan. 2004 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab Long Bed, got a great deal on it when I bought it 2 years ago.

I'm sure more people here drive Swedish cars (Volvo, Saab) than French, Spanish, or Italian cars, especially in the United States, where French and Spanish cars are not sold and Italian cars amount to Ferrari and Maserati and the like. I'm not voting until that's fixed.

"98 Land Rover Discovery LSE (British)

Also in the Family
- '98 Oldsmobile Cutlass (American)
- '01 Grand Cherokee (American)
- '03 Discovery SE-7 (British with a little help from the Germans)
- '05 Touareg V8 (German)

A load of British cars have the same engine. Its a 1960's Buick 3.5L V8 that were put in a zillion cars. Over the years it has been increased in size.

But how do you deal w/ it as it seems the lines can be blurred?

MINIs are originally British, no?
But now they're churned out by German BMW, right?

But much of the assembly/ parts come from Brasil, México, and some from the UK, still, right?

So where would that fall?

And I would edit your poll but I've never done so and I'm afraid I'll b0rk it all to hell. :p

I'm in the Swedish camp - voted Other for my Saab. :)

Most cars are made in a separate country with parts from all over the world.

I am happy to say my jack, wiper fluid pump, and ABS system are made in italy.

I currently drive a 2001 Chevy Cavalier. I've got about a year and a half before I'll be ready to get a new car. Hopefully it will hold up until then. My next car, as of right now, will be a Mini Cooper S.

Since these threads continue to discriminate by not putting vehicle rather than car, I shall once again gatecrash and vote Japanese on behalf of my motorbike ;)
