What kind of cloth do you use to wipe and clean your watch?
Just a small microfiber cloth.
Any particular make you recommend?
Exactly that... Whatever I'm wearing
Yep, my shirt. I also wear it in the shower to clean any gunk off of it, especially with the link bracelet.
The same microfiber cloth I have to clean my glasses and iPhone/iPad screens.
Not really. I'm just using the one that came with my iMac.
Since the watch has a sapphire display, I just don't care. So I use my shirt
About once every few weeks, I've gotten in the habit of cleaning it thoroughly and I just use the microfiber cloth that came with my Macbook Pro.
Any real microfiber cloth will be fine.
I really like the "e-Shammy" microfiber cleaning cloth. Works really well for all my devices. I believe I got it on Amazon.
I have one of these at home which I clean all screens with: http://www.amazon.co.uk/E-cloth-Glass-and-Polishing-Cloth/dp/B002KQ5CIW
They seem to work very well and are nice and large.
Anyone using the cloth that came with the watch, by chance? Works great.
something like this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/E-cloth-Sta...id=1442304808&sr=1-1&keywords=stainless+cloth
Then cut in small square for when away from home?
Only the link bracelet and Edition models come with the cleaning cloth though.
Oh... well THAT'S stupid...
Really thin microfiber cloth (the kind used for jewelry) works very well.
Obviously you and everyone here owns an iPhone.
My shirt, I'll run it under water once in a while and then use a towel to dry it off.
Shirt, pants... whatever. Unless your clothes are made from sandpaper, your watch will be fine.
I'm a photographer so I am a bit picky about my microfiber. I have a bunch of Adorama microfiber cloths in small and medium sizes: http://www.adorama.com/CPCMSK1.html
Not that there is anything that special about these...there are plenty of good microfibers out there, but there are even more bad microfiber cloths. The ones with looser weave or that are thicker are pretty much useless (they feel more like synthetic chamois than microfiber). Thin and fine weave do a much better job.
I will also admit to using a tshirt to wipe off my watch or phone from time to time... but I stick to microfiber for my expensive lenses.
