BlueRevolution macrumors 603 Apr 23, 2009 #2 What kind of G4? Power Mac? http://support.apple.com/specs In any case, I believe all G4s use ATA.
C charlestot macrumors newbie Original poster Apr 23, 2009 #3 Thanks! This is it Oh, and which one of these?
BlueRevolution macrumors 603 Apr 23, 2009 #4 There were a lot of G4s that looked like that. You'll just have to sort through the Power Macs G4 and find the one that matches your computer's specs/date of purchase.

A SATA controller for a G4 is going to cost you about as much as another hard drive. I believe just about any 3.5" IDE/ATA hard drive will do for G4 towers.
