What Kind Of Mouse Do You Use?

I use the Microsoft Wireless Intellimouse explorer 2.0

It's a cheap (I got it for $13) reliable mouse that offers virtical (sp) and horizontal (sp) scrolling...plus programable buttons...

It appears that tiger direct is selling them now for $25 after rebates. It seems like a good price, as I have seen them for about $60 elsewhere (I think). I will try out the mighty mouse first if my iMac ever gets here. My friend is fond of the mouse where you spin a sphere and mouse stays still. They use them at the recording studio at which he works.

I've seen the MX Revolution for as much as $90 at places like Best Buy; it's definitely one of the more expensive mice out there. I like the shape of it in my hand, but I don't like the scroll wheel positioned right by the thumb. It was a deal-breaker for me. For $25 though, I might've gotten over it.

I think you are referring to a trackball when you speak of the spinning sphere.

Has a rechargable Li ion battery so there is no futsing with changing out batteries
Programable buttons

Does anyone know how much the Logitech v470 weighs? The best result I could find on the web said about 240g, which seems too heavy when the v270 is only 172g.
Also does this one have the annoying lag of the v270 or does it seem improved? Anyone have more info? Thanks!

You might check for the latest drivers at Logitechs website. There have been problems reported with some of their mice and Mac computers, though my MX400 has worked perfectly so far.

I am now the proud owner of a logitech MX400 laser mouse. Superb piece of equipment. I'm also using their (Logitech's) Control Center software. It works like a dream.
Now if only it was white.....or aluminum...

I have the razor mouse too, but I find myself going back to the wired MM. I just like the small size of the scrollwheel.

I have to admit the razer scroll isn't amazing, yet the overall experience of the mouse and its drivers is so much more natural at least to me.

I've been using the Radtech BT-600 since I got my iMac. It's actually quite good tracking wise. BT connection is solid but the button clicks (especially the side buttons) are crap. Very plastic, toy like, etc. Main left/right buttons are 'not bad', but NOTHING like the apple mice or M$ Intellimouse clicks. I will most likely pick up the M$ BT Explorer 8000. It's a well made mouse, great resolution, and nice size. Buttons are as expected, well engineered. I've read that they can be tricky to connect BT wise but besides that do well.
