I'm trying to research on apps/devices that can record my sleep data and input them into healthkit. I'm even considering manual data import into healthkit via 3rd party apps or scripts.

Is anyone using healthkit with sleep data right now? Can you share what it is that you can input into healthkit? Is it only start/stop sleep time?

Lark records the sleep data: shake your iphone before you go to sleep and with the M7 processor it knows when you go to sleep and when you wake up. [IMG]

Thank you awesome!! Is there more when you click into each of those row? So from what I can tell HealthKit just tracks sleep period. But not the sleep modes.

Interesting. Is it possible to get different sleep states? Deep sleep. REM sleep. Etc

I use a Withings Pulse for my sleep tracking. The Withings app breaks down the patterns in Awake, Light Sleep, and Deep Sleep. It syncs the data with the Health app but only shows total sleep time.

Can you go into the "show data" part and see if "sleep state" only records asleep and not asleep, but not light, deep etc? Thank you!!

Awake in Withings becomes In Bed in Health.
