I was testing out my S6 Edge vs iPhone 6s loading about 15 different websites. I set them both to desktop mode to get a full gauge of what the processors could do, and how fast they could render websites.

Long story short, the iPhone 6s loaded pages around 5-10 seconds faster. 5 seconds slower was the best the S6 could muster up using Chrome or Firefox.

In fact, my iPhone 6s was only "slightly" slower than my MacBook Pro 2015!

What a nice surprise :)

Were you using adblockers on the 6s?

I found the the opposite when I had my S6 edge against my iPhone 6 and I don't find the 6s to load pages a hole lot faster than my 6

I use adblockers on my 6s and a http proxy adblocker on my 6, I also used adBlock on my S6 edge.

Tried with both using one, and both without.

Do you have a link to the web pages you used? You say the S6 was 10-15 seconds slower, were you using wifi? It sounds like you were using 3G because I can't remember the last time it took even close to 10 seconds to load a page.

My 6S+ is performing as well as my Core I5 laptop when browsing web pages, even complex ones. Going back and forth through browser history is instant. Loading an article in Gizmodo that has ads, several GIFs looping, and 100+ comments loaded in is no sweat. And on top of all that, I shot, edited, and rendered 4K video last weekend with barely a stutter from iMovie. Four freaking K video!

My previous 6+ didn't even come close when pushed like this.

This is the iPhone I've always wanted. Never again will I toss it aside and break out the laptop because the task I'm doing is "too demanding for the phone".

I'd be curious what web pages you used too. I have both an Edge S6+ and a 6s+, and while the 6s+ does consistently beat the S6+ for me as well, it's usually only by a relatively small amount, usually a second or less.
