What lcd panel in unibody MBP?

what type of lcd panel is used in the June 2009 macbook pros?

IPS? TN? PVA?

People say tn panels are "super crappy" when on an external monitor, but their amazing when in a MBP. So im not sure why its disappointing.

Just a question, if you like "better" technology, such as the "best of the best" why do you have the base model 13 uMBP then? Surely you should have the top of the line with a huge SSD in it.
