Wanting to build a Hackintosh that would be 3 to 4 times faster than my Mac Mini for rendering video and sharing video to H264 in Final Cut Pro 10.3?

2012 Mac Mini 2.3 GHz Quad
16 Gigabytes of ram
500 GB SATA 500 MBs read and write

I mainly edit 2+ hour SD footage and 1080p.

You're going to need discrete graphics for the kind of gains you're looking for and even the I don't think you're going to get a 2x to 3x improvement
 
No reply yet. But in my 2008 Mac Pro the 280X blew my Mac Mini out of the water in rendering but was slower in exporting H264.
