    Hey Guys!

    I'm having a bit of trouble :(
My partner has offered to treat me to a new laptop/netbook :)

I've seen 2 I really like and are very affordable at £80.00

    iBook G4 or Asus 1001ha

Can't decide which to go for :(
Know very little about both of these.

    Whats best to go for?
It would be used for ebay, emails, web surfing, casual use basically.

Some info would be really great!
    Thanks!

    Cheap partner you have.

Go for the iBook, you expect "us" to recommend a Windows computer.:p

I heard some great stuff and some terrible stuff about iBook G4 :(
Was told it's too old to really run anything but got no idea

It'll run some stuff. The problem is finding software that works on it that is now most likely sitting at the bottom of a landfill somewhere.

Go for the Asus. iBooks are obsolete now; I have tried a first gen MacBook recently and it was basically unusable. I wouldn't even want to use an iBook.

    (From the guy who's used an iMac G3 400MHz until 2009 ;))
