Can't believe I own and still running so popular models:
Cube
12" Power Book G4
20" iMac G4

After so much decision new Mac machine in my collection is 2009 Mac mini 2.0.
After upgrading I love the speed, but the same time I feel bad for replacing Cube....

TAM - Complete In Box (more for collectibility than looks).

Sage iMac G3 Complete in Box (had a chance to get one but unit only, and it was kinda trashed.... :()

Twiggy Lisa

Color Classic Complete In Box (have just a unit only with a few cracks...:( )

Almost everyone on here wants a 20 inch G4 iMac...
I did too, so I bought one :D
I got a 15 inch though, because it was a good deal

I would love to get the G4 Cube, the PowerMac G4? (I almost had one from school, dirtbag net-tech took it to the graveyard...) and an eMac/iMac G3 (CRT Version). Those and possibly the Black MacBook.

Mac 128k
Mac XL
One of the workstation computers running A/UX
Any PowerBook Duo (along with the Duo Dock)
an iMac G3
An iBook G3
And a Mac II

17" or 20" iMac G4. Don't care which one.
I really wanted a 15" PowerBook. Lusted after that one for a long time, but I never got it. Now I just want an Air.

I would love to own a Cube or a Pismo, they are computers I have wanted ever since I first saw them. However I have serious doubts that either of them would be able to hold up to modern useage. i use my computers and dont have room for one that looks awesome, but cant handle xvids or run a modern OS like Leopard.

Pity.

I'm on my Cube right now. So long as its not your only computer, its still plenty usable. Tiger runs great and there are plenty of inexpensive upgrades that are fun to do. If nothing else, its a fun iTunes jukebox and DVD player.

I don't have anything unique to add to the list, and it seems like there are definitely a few models that are in demand by many- myself being no exception :D

My desired, in order:

PowerBook 1.5Ghz G4 12"
any B&W PowerMac G3
G4 Cube
PowerMac G5

And just for the heck of it, 'cause work is super slow today, here's what I've owned:

Performa 6200... I believe it was a 160Mhz 603? I was very young at the time.
Performa 6400, 180Mhz 604e
PowerMac G3 266Mhz (I loved that thing... flashed a PC Voodoo3 2000 for Unreal Tournament. Sweet.)
iMac DV G3 400Mhz (GPU blew... again, young and foolish)
PowerMac G4 DP 867Mhz MDD (Just got rid of that one, gave it to my sister... nice machine)

and my latest, a late 2007 Alu iMac 2.66 Core Duo with a ATI 2600 that I'm happily overclocking.

I also owned a few Apple IIe, which I bought for $1 each from a school. I honestly don't know where the heck those went... probably in my parents barn.

I vote Cube also, and almost bought one on eBay not too long ago. But, I realized I wouldn't get much use out of it since my G4 Mini w/ Leopard does the iTunes server thing. I don't know what I would use the Cube for, other than just to say I have one (and I think I'm beyond that point in my life now).

Right now, I want either a Mac Pro or at least an iMac. The last Apple desktop I had was the Macintosh Classic. And at the time my dad got it, CD-ROM was becoming a hit so DOS/Windows was what I was interested in. Since then I've only had laptops or that Mini, which isn't used except to stream from an external. I'm looking at the 24" iMac for our next computer.

Am I imagining it, or was there a film called Blank Cheque where this boy used a Mac to buy loads of stuff in the '90s? I wanted that mac when I was little.

Then - the original iMac, but I then tried one and it had OS9, I thought that it was like an old Atari so that was a no go.

But the ones I really wanted once OSX arrived were:

iMac G4
12" PowerBook
PowerMac G5 with the Liquid cooling

and the current gen that I really want are:

Mac Pro 8 core
MacBook Pro 15"

Drooling over these Macs...

Right now...these are what I am *really* trying to find:

• LPGA Japan edition PowerBook 170

• PowerBook 550c Japan model

• Clear case Mac Portable M5120

•*Clear case Mac SE

**all of these are special edition, ultra-rare, I've included photos below. It would be awesome to pick one of these up on eBay.

been looking for the 550c for years now but nothing ever came up...

that 170 model is amazing  makes my 170 look like a normal 170, which it is...

the imac 20in G4 revolutionised the mac brand. I still remember the ads, very clever ads they were indeeed.

I would quite happily pick up a mac pro, and a umbp 17 if i had the monies but i dont!! daaarn
