I only read the title, so I'm going to ignore the OP's rant.

When I got my first iPod mini for Christmas in 2004. I was amazed that I could hold 1,000 songs in something so small in my pocket, and I could bring my favorite albums with me anywhere I want. Plus I liked Brick and Solitaire :D

My non-American money was helping keep Apple afloat when the ignorant OP was still a toddler and Apple was moribund. So am I entitled to my first wave Apple watch despite not being an American? Hell yes.

Been using Macs since the early 90s when everyone pointed and laughed at them. I worked in a company which reported on computing and telecoms and was faced every day by the barrage of abuse for Apple when Amelio was at the helm. And yet I still thought that Apple were the best, most reliable, most intuitive computers out there. And I've been rewarded for my loyalty with phones, laptops and iPads galore. If anything it's gone too far the other way where now you get the sheep comments. Shrug. Still not going anywhere.

So, OP, get knotted. You're spouting nonsense.

Maybe if it was American made, you could argue that you should get it first. I think the Chinese have a good case of they followed your rant.

If your delivery date is between 24th to 8th may, disappointing rant mate !

It started for me like with most people my generation I have to assume, the iPod. It was an excellent device and really changed how my friends and I shared music.

After that I got a 12" iBook G4 and was in awe of the build quality and using OS X was a fun experience. I still keep my desktop Windows though for many reasons.

Sorry about your luck OP but a lot of us are in the same boat so you're not alone. Patience is all that's needed.

I am going to make this as short as possible. I am from Alabama, USA. I was born in January 1986. Obviously computers weren't much then and I don't remember seeing any macs until I was in grade school in the computer lab playing Oregon Trail on floppy disks. In my time, windows was the shiznit. 95, 98, even God awful ME was the big deal. I tore apart computers my mom could barely afford and it taught me skills that I use today managing Windows environments with Exchange, AD, etc. My older brother started down the mac path long before I did and when I first saw the iPhone I said I want to see what Microsoft does. I was 21 at the time. After about 6 months of no one doing anything close to iPhone I got one. I loved it and decided I was wrong about Apple. Then I got an older model Macbook Air and didnt like it and I have stuck with Windows PCs until last July. I bought the newest MacBook Pro. LOVE IT! LOVE MY iPhone! Love my iPad mini (mainly for my son) I have owned a few iPads but quickly sell them because I use my mac or iPhone mostly. Today I own iPhone 6, Macbook Pro 2014, and iPad mini. My wife owns iPhone 5s. I got up at 2 am to order an Apple Watch and sold the Pebble my wife got me in January (my birthday) the next day. Apple is getting better everyday because they have the resources to do whatever they want. The sad fact is that it does not include getting watches to people that woke up early to order their newest gadget. No offense to everyone else in the world but Apple is an AMERICAN design and American people should have it FIRST. The fact that British people have theirs and ordered after me is a SLAP in the face. I know I cannot change the corporate machine that is now Apple. All they care about will be share holders and there is nothing I can do to change that. I will keep my watch order active until the 8th. After that I AM DONE with Apple. I hope someone out there knows how to start a company that can make high grade products and deliver with effective communication. Done with rant for today.

paragraph breaks PLEASE. Not reading!

Not trolling just expressing frustration. I admit I am likely wrong and my judgement is likely skewed but anyone (other than the lucky few) that got their product at launch feel slighted too.

Please add some paragraphs to your first post then quote me when you have. I'll read it then.

OP I hope you know the chinese will get theirs first because they are the fastest growing market and they pay more than you

The design, function and build quality of my first iPod. Probably 2nd gen by then? That git me interested in Apple. After that we got an iMac. Been buying Apple since.

As for you deciding to "quit" Apple because you have to wait for a Watch? Sorry, get over yourself.

1. I realized that I knew way too much about regedit than I should know.
2. I thought different.

I was just going to post Oregon Trail and noticed you mentioned this as well. Loved that game.
I was Windows only up until the iPod 1st Gen and never upgraded until the iPod Video (Gen5). It was all over from there.
Next was the iPhone, 3G, MBP and on and on until I am now completely in Apple's little ecosystem. Everything except for a MacPro. But we'll see.

Not to be snobby, at all, but you don't know what it means to be an Apple user unless you were in that post-Jobs pre-Jobs era, i.e., the early 90's. They literally made beige $h*t boxes and we loved them. You couldn't buy software except for maybe a catelogue. I started on an old Macintosh SE and then my first new Mac was a Quadra 610. Later, I had an iPod Day One and people on here and other forums said it would never make it because the Creative Zen existed.:D

Anyone remember owning an Apple Printer or a Quicktake camera?:apple:
