I too am wondering this. Anyone?

I ordered my 4s last year on verizon.com right as pre orders went live. I was done within 10 minutes. I had planned to order through apple.com but the site was crashing for me at the time.

I received my phone around 2 pm on launch day btw.

I have always ordered from Apple and it always comes late in the evening. I think this year I will try AT&T if they really deliver by 10:30.

Stood in line last year and quickly realized I hated doing that for a electronic device. I'll be ordering from AT&T this time.

No, but we need more lemon Pledge.

Ordering off of Apple's website, or getting it from Best Buy.

Best Buy is ideal so I can get quadruple reward zone points and still get miles on my Venture Card. I love knowing how their system works.

To those with Sprint, what would you recommend I do? This will be my first time buying an iPhone and I'd like to get one on release day. My contract is up, and I'd like to do the buyback program as I can get $60 for my Evo 4G.

Also, I'm not even too sure how pre-ordering online works and if I can pair the buyback program with my phone. If I pre-order in store, how exactly does that work?

I'm a complete noob when it comes to buying an iPhone.

None of the above. I'm content with my 4s. If a new iPhone is announced and it managed to wow me, I might use one of my upgrades in December.

Got my 3GS and 4 straight from Apple.com. Plan to do the same this year, though I want to buy 3 of them this year (my wife and mom want new phones too.)
