I wanted Black 32GB WiFi so I just ordered online from Apple so I wouldn't have to worry about trying to track down the model I wanted locally. I couldn't line up Friday anyway because of work--not that I would have waited in line anyway.

Yes, I got what I wanted. The only difference is that I got Verizon instead of ATT. I don't see that as a big enough difference to be significant.

Also, my model was close enough that I didn't mind paying 120 or so extra. I'll get most of that back on resale anyways.
I would've preferred the white iPad but it's not worth waiting for god knows how long for BB to get new stock with my pre-order coupon.
I wanted a 16GB Black Wifi but the vouchers were gone before the rep came to me so I got a 32GB Black Wifi.

Not yet, I want a Black 16gb WiFi, got a BB voucher for a White one. My BB never got their initial shipment, so once they arrive the people with vouchers are still first (im very skeptical, but you never know) I like white but Im just not sure. If anything ill pass on the white and wait it out for a black one.
i think the same way on this. i had a 32GB wifi 1st gen. decided to go up to a 64 this time around.
i will fill it up with movies for times away from home, etc...
Fortunately, the Apple store had the model I wanted . . . A Black 32gb wifi model. If not, I would have waited for the one I wanted.

I decided to take home what I could get and see how I would use it. It is my first iPad so was kinda unsure. That being said I see i'm going to be using this thing a lot so still might trade it in for the 64gb AT&T model. With that said I really haven't even touched much of the 16gb yet so who knows. I got two weeks to figure it out.

Stood in line for three and a half hours yesterday at my Apple store just to see if I could even get my hands on any model. The employees insisted that anyone near my position in line for sure wouldn't be getting a ticket, but I stood around anyways.
After a fight and cutting ensued, I got to the front of the line and all they had left was one 64 3G for Verizon, I was hoping to get AT&T. I may exchange later, as I get good enough coverage with AT&T wherever I'd be bringing my iPad. Still not sure though yet, as Verizon 3G seems speedy enough for me.

Got there 2 hrs before, and got what I wanted - 65 B AT&T. But at that point, they were already short on AT&T Models -- after about 75 people.
