Both watches are very similar. The Nike watch has Nike watch faces, Nike Run Club app and perforated sport Nike band.

If you’re getting an aluminium watch, I’d say get the Nike one because there’s no real reason not to (unless you’re only ever going to use one strap and prefer one that ships with the non-Nike version).

had a sport aluminum series 0 and traded it in for a Nike s2, now Nike s3, honestly I'm a huge fan of the nike band but i don't use any of the nike apps or faces, even though I train cardio a few times a week.

However, if you don’t use Nike Run, and use something like Strava or many of the other run apps, consider the Sport.

Why?
I did because the Space Grey Alum with grey sport band goes well in a business casual environment.
And of course, it goes just as well out in the gym or on a run.

The Nike sport band on the other hand, is a bit too sporty for business setting.

....or just buy some bands. Many are going to do this anyway. I have 5 and like being able to change colors. Also loving the Nike Band and have neglected my solids lately.

This is interesting, I want to update my S0 to S3 and because there is no price difference now between Sport and Nike+ I don't know which one to get.

I know I won't use the Nike+ Run app; so does that automatically make the decision clear.

Yes, of course. Either with either route, one can buy cheap knockoff bands.
I was just playing out a scenario if one didn’t want to or have to buy additional bands.

I just update from a series 0 to Nike series 3. I was debating as well, but decided to go with the Nike one simply just due to the additional faces & unique band.

I already have a couple of solid sports bands, & already have the fog band the sport comes with.

I'm also not using the Nike Run app either, but still like the Nike faces & the band.

I’m gonna pop to an Apple Store tomorrow and actually try out the Nike+. See what the Watch faces are like, see the band in person.

Yeah, check it out & see what you think.

For the price being the same, I feel like, whether I'll use it or not, I like the option of having those additional face & the Nike band (and if I should ever decide to use the Nike App, it's there)

Beyond the plusses on the Nike watch, there isn't a difference between them, so I went with the one they gave me a little extra for the same price.

And I like that the Nike band is a bit lighter than the standard band.

If you want the gold, you have to get the regular sport. Otherwise, I wish I had gotten Nike just because I like the exclusive crimson and black sport loop.

I purchased the Nike+, but had no intention of using the Nike faces or run app so decided not to open it and exchanged it for the aluminium sport model with the fog band. I also picked up the black sport loop, which I haven't opened up as yet but I think it will become my everyday band.

If the Nike exclusive features don’t hold any value for you, get whichever model has the band/color combo that you want. Simple.

Unless you have no interest in a Nike band, I would get the Nike version. The Nike bands are great during the summer!

Whilst I bought a non Nike S3 because it was a good deal on Facebook Marketplace, if I was buying from Apple I’d definitely recommend getting the Nike.

The pure platinum band is particularly sought after on eBay and when you come to sell the watch, the Nike versions sell for a little more than the non Nike ones.

I’m new to the Apple Watch so for me to start off I went with the series 3. Well Nike Apple LTE Series 3 space grey anthracite black band. Ordered two other bands(red/blk, blk/green volt) off eBay, yes, good silicone legit quality and actually get those Tuesday.

I chose the Nike due to the different exclusive faces. I won’t use the LTE until I have/want too. I got a good price for this version so why not ehh? I keep my phone with me still anyways. I like that I still get calls thru the Bluetooth connection so I’m good.

I got the regular version because I don’t care for the Nike Watch faces and I don’t like the bands they sell now with the Watch. I’ve also bought a platinum white nike band so it’s the best of both worlds for me.

I had a series 2 sport aluminum, I have the nike anthracite, obsidian and volt bands, so I got the cellular version to get the black sport loop.
