Hi,

Which 3D/modeling/CAD applications for the mac would be able to have hard body collision. Such that, if I drew 3 or 4 spheres, I could push them against one another without having them start to overlap. Do any packages have a type of gravity, so that I could have another sphere rest into the gap left in the first layer (like stacking oranges)?

Thanks for any help, this is a bit outside my usual work, so I'm a little lost.

Thanks

Most 3d apps these days have some type of dynamics (gravity, collisions, etc.) built in to them. My 3d app of choice is C4D, but its dynamics are almost completely worthless, though the third party plugin "SilverBullet" fills the gap.
But all the other major 3d apps contain robust dynamics capabilities. (Maya, Softimage, Houdini, 3d Max.)

Not sure about CAD programs though.

Thanks. I'll take a look at Maya. I think they have a 30 day evaluation.
Cheers.
