I use a magic mouse for most things or sometimes plug in a Razer USB hi res gaming mouse if I really need it.

i appearently have a mouse, a cable mouse. Witch is covering about 1,1 USB ports... since my 13'MBP is having 2 USB ports witch are like 2mm apart, i have to choose between mouse or my internet stick.

so im kinda sick from using the trackpad, gets dirty too.

What mouse do you have, and whats your general thoughts about it?

And please suggest me a good mouse, with bluetooth, if its any good?.

(low budget, cant afford magic mouse)

I use a Dell 4 button bluetooth scroll shell mouse:

It has good battery life, small yet comfortable, bluetooth so no ogle, and when combined with steer mouse it's very flexible since I use all the buttons.

As a bonus I have the red and grey for my school colors.

I also have an MS Bluetooth travel mouse that I picked up cheap (around $10 at Microcenter) as an OEM (no box) version. It's a fine mouse as well, I just prefer the Dell.

I use the Logitech M570 Trackball. Like most other Logitech mice, it has a tiny USB receiver that fits nicely without overlapping into the next port.

Also, because of the trackball, you don't have to move it which is nice when using it in a confined space.

Logitech Anywhere Mouse MX. Works great, has a nice prefs panel, works on any surface ... some nice button mapping for OSX (center button bring up MC, tilt left/right on main scroll wheel pages like a two finger sweep).

I'm also using the K800 keyboard, which is also excellent and while it's not advertised as "Mac compatible" like the MX mouse it works perfect (the keys of course have a few mapping considerations, but it's quick and easy to learn and/or change). This keyboard is backlit too, which is a nice perk.

They both communicate through a tiny USB dongle, that's a proprietary wireless interface, but it's very tiny and generally if I'm not at my desk, I just pop it out.

I love the integrated trackpad when I'm using the laptop "self contained", but when I'm at my desk with my external monitor and KB, I prefer a mouse.

Magic Trackpad is my preference but if it has to be a mouse, the Microsoft 5000 mouse, or the Microsoft notebook mouse.
