Are you watching tonight?

Netflix was stupid and remailed me "War of the Worlds" because I wrote "Bad Disc" on it (stalled on the PM in a couple of spots), and since I watched when Rob was at work lat one night last week, I guess that's what we're watching tonight.

You?

After I finish ripping my DVD's of Samurai Jack to my iMac, I think I'll be watching some episodes of Samurai Jack tonight. Good times.

No movie or DVD for us this evening – just a bit of channel hopping. Currently I've got one eye on MacRumors and the other on the telly and Match of the Day.

It's been a pretty poor evening for telly watching*– the only thing that sticks in the mind from earlier is celebrity ice dancing, for all the wrong reasons.

CSI, followed by some Scrubs me thinks!

Good drama and funny moral comedy! Ahhhh!! :)

i was wating LOTR earlier. maybe i'll continue. if not it'll be some action flick. even though i won't be paying attention.

Have to send my Donny Darko back to NetFlix to get my next movie - not sure what we'll watch tonight, but I'll probably work - bleh.

Just watched 40 Year Old Virgin and am now feeling incredibly inspired.

LOL - uh huh.

I watched that with my 17- and 19-year-old nephews on Christmas morning and was slightly embarrassed.

But it was funny. :D

If I could be bothered to watch something from all the ripped stuff on the Mac tonight, it would be either:

• City of God
• The Kingdom (the Lars Von Trier original) or...
• Curb Your Enthusiasm (Season 4, Disk 1)

BTW: These were all legitimately rented, returned unwatched and are merely time-shifted for a rainy day.

I'm watching "The Micallef Pogram"

That's season 3 for all you guys, Season One was "The Micallef Program" and some oldies complained about the technically incorrect spelling of "program" so the second series they called "The Micallef Programme" and then just too be a smart arse they called season 3 "The Micallef Pogram."

Very funny show.

What are we doing tonight Brain? The same thing we do every night Pinky...

Try to take over the world... Actually I'm most likely watching the same thing I've been addicted to since New Years, Farscape. The Starburst Editions aren't comming out fast enough for me. Season 3 is epic.

Farscape is good but after a while they got ridiculous, I don't know if you got to this part yet and I dont want to spoil it for you but once Criton gets doubled things get weird.

I'll be checking out my Batman Begins DVD which I received for Christmas, as I haven't had a chance to look through it yet. I might only pop in the second disc though and scan through the special features for now, since I just saw the movie again on IMAX a week ago. ;)

Other than that, not much - just busy moving into our new house. I am eager also to fire up some Battlestar Galactica though at some point - I have the miniseries (pilot) and all of Season 1 and 2 to watch on my Mac, I just haven't got around to it yet. I hear that it's the best sci-fi series out there, better than Star Trek in some respects, and is being heralded as one of the best shows, period, on TV right now, sci-fi or otherwise. A lot of high praise, so I'm eager to see if it is warranted or not.

You know how I know you're gay?

Because you told me. ;)

That part was funny.

That's actually the joke of the family - "everyone has a gay uncle."

I'm the gay uncle. :p

Michael and his girlfriend were dressing up for Halloween and he was going as his girlfriend and she was going as him. He came in to show us and said "Should I put lipstick on?" I said "yeah, and some highliner."

"You sure?"

"Listen to your gay uncle, I said." :D

I have no idea. I probably am going to spend most of the evening working on a project creating banners/info poster designs that I put off by a few days. I could watch something on the side while I work. I wonder if I could borrow my roommates dell monitor and use that since his computer is broken.
